Erin and Rob were married Tuesday October 11 on the King’s Knoll at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii in a simple, beautiful ceremony.It was just the two of them, just what they wanted, having already done a small ceremony for the family in Atlanta.
I love that they were willing to get into the ocean and get a little wet. I love that it started to rain, just as the sun set into the ocean, a sigh of good luck! According to the old wives’ tale, the knot in “tying the knot” becomes wet and is harder to break, thus making the marriage stronger.
I love how these two are together – so natural, so easy, so comfortable. It’s a love that doesn’t take many words — it simply speaks for itself.
